Air conditioning
Car air conditioning systems need regular servicing due to the natural ware and tear of the hoses and components of the air conditioning systems in modern vehicles. The refrigerant gas will leak slowly out of the A/C system at a rate of 15-20% per year, thereby making your system gradually less efficient until it finally stops working all together.
If you let your A/C system run out of refrigerant and then you don't use the system for several months the chances are that internal component seals will dry out and you will have leaks in your system when it is eventually re-gassed. This could be expensive!
Always ensure that your cars air conditioning system is in working order by running it on full cold at least once a week for a few minutes, even in the winter. FUEL INJECTION

Generally high end European vehicles manufactured after 2001 have on board service interval indicators. In some cases on certain vehicles, they allow them to travel 30,000 km before telling you it requires a service.
Through our previous experiences and over the years of removing engine rocker covers to see the inside of an engine damaged and clogged up with oil sludge and carbon deposits affecting performance and fuel economy, it is clear that even the best fully synthetic oils and quality oil filters, need changing well before some of the 20,000 km- 30 000km oil change interval.
All vehicles run a higher risk of breaking down and wear out sooner without regular maintenance and service intervals. Depending on what all the different manufacturers and their log books state, the makes, models, year, fuel and drive type all factor in contributing the travel, wear and vehicles usage duration.
We at CAE recommend a maximum of 15 000km/ once a year service intervals which ever comes first, generally for European vehicles using full synthetic oil. On all other vehicles we recommend a maximum of 10 000km/ every six month service intervals which ever comes first
Remember, by the time the problems arise from excessively long service intervals and lack of maintenance your vehicle will be well out of warranty, not to mention the excessive costing to repair or replace the damage done.

Reversing sensors and cameras can be life savers, especially for families with young children or when reversing to hook up a trailer or on the rear of a trailer.
